When we visit businesses for our Best of the City Awards spotlights, we're always excited to discover what makes each one special. But every once in a while, we walk into a place that completely exceeds our expectations.
Enchanting Earth was one of those places.
The moment we stepped through the doors, we knew this was going to be something different. The space itself commanded attention. Every piece of jewelry was displayed with such care and intention that it felt less like walking into a retail store and more like discovering a carefully curated collection of treasures. Light danced off the crystals, creating an almost ethereal atmosphere throughout the shop.
And then Jamie Inglett greeted us, and the warmth she radiated immediately shifted the entire experience. This wasn't going to be a standard interview. We were being welcomed into something special.
As Jamie began walking us through her shop, she shared the story of how Enchanting Earth came to be, and we found ourselves completely captivated.
At five years old, Jamie held her first crystal, a piece of Rose Quartz, and felt what she describes as "soft, loving and pure joy." That connection to crystals stayed with her, even as life led her down a more traditional path. She built an impressive career in banking, eventually becoming a Vice President and Senior Officer at a community bank and earning her MBA from Baker University. On paper, she had everything figured out.
But beneath the surface, something was calling to her.
In 2012, during a family trip to the quartz mines in Arkansas, everything shifted. Jamie reconnected with the Earth, with her inner child, with that original magic she'd felt as a little girl holding that Rose Quartz. She began meditating with crystals daily, and a spiritual awakening began to unfold.
The true turning point came in 2019. Jamie meditated with Moldavite, a rare and incredibly powerful stone, and experienced a full out of body experience. Her husband Rick, who had been witnessing her transformation, encouraged her to share this gift with the world.
Two weeks later, she launched Enchanting Earth on Instagram. By July 2020, she had made the leap: leaving her banking career behind entirely to pursue her calling full time.
Then Spirit guided Jamie and her family to Sedona, the red rock vortex where Enchanting Earth was meant to take root and flourish. Standing in her shop, listening to her tell this story in person, the authenticity was palpable. This wasn't a calculated business pivot. This was a woman following her soul's purpose.
As Jamie gave us the tour, we were immediately struck by the sheer abundance and variety. Stones in every imaginable color, crystals we'd never heard of, pieces that seemed to glow with their own inner light. Without Jamie there to guide us, the experience could have been overwhelming.
But that's where her gift truly shines.
She showed us special display cases at the front counter, pieces that clearly held particular significance. Then she brought us to a display that made us pause: her collection of crystal wands. Each one had been designed with specific stones and specific intentions in mind. These weren't decorative objects. They were tools for transformation, carefully crafted to serve real purposes in people's lives.
What struck us most was Jamie's approach to teaching. She's grounded and nurturing, with a warmth that immediately puts people at ease. She made it abundantly clear that total beginners are not just welcome but genuinely embraced. She didn't assume we knew anything about crystals, and she patiently answered every question we asked.
Whether someone comes in seeking love, abundance, healing, or simply something beautiful, Jamie doesn't just point them toward a stone and ring up the sale. She educates. She explains why certain crystals resonate with certain intentions. She helps people understand what they're connecting with on a deeper level.
Watching her interact with us, it became clear: Jamie genuinely cares about getting the right pieces into the right people's hands. This isn't about moving inventory. This is about service.
As we admired the jewelry, Jamie shared details that revealed just how thoughtfully every aspect of her business is designed.
She creates each setting herself, then collaborates with specific artisans to bring her visions to life. But her design process goes beyond aesthetics, though the pieces are undeniably beautiful. She thinks carefully about which stones will truly serve people and how to make her jewelry both meaningful and practical.
Her rings, for example, are adjustable from size one all the way up to larger sizes. It's such a thoughtful detail. If you're buying a ring as a gift, you don't need to worry about getting the size wrong.
Then she mentioned the rhodium coating over sterling silver. We'll admit, we didn't immediately understand the significance, but Jamie explained that this extra step, which many cheaper jewelry brands skip entirely, dramatically extends the life of each piece.
It's one of those details most customers would never think to ask about, but it makes a profound difference in quality and longevity.
This level of care and attention permeates every aspect of Jamie's work. Nothing is an afterthought. Everything is intentional.
During our conversation, Jamie brought up something that clearly matters deeply to her: authenticity in the crystal market.
We had no idea this was even an issue until she explained it. Apparently, not every seller online is honest about what they're offering. Some are literally selling colored glass and marketing it as genuine crystal.
For someone seeking the actual healing properties and energetic benefits of real stones, that's not just disappointing. It's a betrayal of trust.
Jamie's entire sourcing process is built on integrity. She conducts extensive research and builds relationships with specific suppliers, small businesses, family-owned mines, and artisan vendors before making any purchases. She doesn't simply order from whoever is cheapest or most convenient. She picks every stone with intention, then charges each one in Sedona's powerful vortex energy.
This matters because for people who can't physically visit Sedona, Jamie is giving them access to this place's unique energy through the stones she sends them. Sedona's energy is unlike anywhere else in the world, and she's making it accessible to people everywhere.
What also impressed us about Jamie is how she's expanded her reach far beyond the physical store.
She's built an incredibly active community on Instagram, where she hosts weekly live sales. But calling them simply "sales" misses the point. These are gatherings where people learn about crystals, ask questions, admire the beauty of the stones, and connect with like minded individuals. You don't even need to purchase anything. You can simply be present, learn, and participate in the community.
Jamie shared how grateful she is for her online presence because it allows her to reach people she'd never connect with through just the physical storefront. She gets to share Sedona charged stones with people across the globe, bringing this sacred energy to anyone who needs it.
She's also significantly expanding her YouTube presence. She offers free guided meditations from Sedona for healing, relaxation, and activation. Monthly energy updates about collective shifts and intuitive guidance. Crystal of the week features. Manifestation messages. Crystal wand activations. She even creates educational videos about how to spot fake crystals, which after our conversation, we now understand is critically important information.
Education isn't just part of what Jamie does. It's woven into everything. She's not simply selling crystals and jewelry. She's teaching, guiding, and building a community of people on their own journeys of healing and transformation.
As we wrapped up the tour and thanked Jamie for opening her doors to us, we reflected on what makes this business truly exceptional.
The jewelry is stunning. The crystals are authentic and displayed like works of art. But what really sets Enchanting Earth apart, what made us certain this business deserved to be spotlighted, is Jamie herself.
Her journey from banking executive to spiritual entrepreneur isn't just an interesting backstory. It's the foundation of everything she's built. She's not capitalizing on a trend.
She's living her calling, and that authenticity radiates from every corner of her shop, every piece of jewelry, every educational video, every Instagram Live.
In a world where it's easy to be cynical, especially in the wellness and spiritual space where substance doesn't always match the marketing, Jamie Inglett and Enchanting Earth stand out as genuinely authentic.
She's created a sanctuary where people can explore, learn, heal, and connect. She's built a community that extends far beyond Sedona's red rocks, reaching people around the world. And she's doing it all with integrity, genuine care, and a level of dedication that's truly inspiring.
That's why we're spotlighting Enchanting Earth as part of our Best of the City Awards. This business deserves recognition not just for beautiful products, but for the heart, soul, and genuine purpose that Jamie pours into every aspect of it.
We left Enchanting Earth feeling inspired and genuinely moved by what we'd experienced. We have a feeling you will be too.
Join her weekly Instagram Lives, explore her YouTube meditations, or visit her storefront in Sedona to experience the magic in person.
Jamie's story, her dedication to authenticity, and her commitment to serving her community make her exactly the kind of business owner we're proud to spotlight. We walked into Enchanting Earth expecting a standard business tour and left with a profound appreciation for what it means to build a business from genuine calling.
